Philippine Chinese Charitable Association, Inc., also known as PCCAI, celebrates its 140th anniversary by launching series of photo exhibits in some key places in Metro Manila. Kapuso actress Glaiza de Castro previously joined the ribbon-cutting ceremony at Fisher Mall in Quezon City.
Now, PCCAI launched its second event at Lucky Chinatown Mall in Binondo, Manila with PCO Presidential Communications Assistant Secretary Margaux Uson — popularly known as Mocha — last Wednesday, August 2.
The innovative collection of photographs and videos on the exhibit have summarized the historical background, colorful journey, the struggles of PCCAI over the years, and the triumphs of the organization to achieve its objective in helping Filipino communities throughout the country by conducting regular medical and humanitarian missions.
So far, the organization has conducted a total of 11 medical and dental missions in various provinces in the Philippines since 2009. Moreover, the focus of PCCAI is to widen its reach to provide medical and relief operations throughout the country.
